The Frascold Open MT Series of open screw compressors came about from an extensive design and testing phase inside our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. With this process, our team was able to deliver screw compressors with some of the very highest levels of performance, reliability, and efficiency inside of the space for medium temperature and low compression ratio applications.
The Open MT Series has been designed to ensure high cooling capacity through the use of every type of traditional HFC refrigerant, hydrocarbons, and all refrigerants featuring low GWP. The compressors in the series are also suitable for use with ammonia and can be operated with or without an economizer.
A correct combination in parallel along with a single external oil separator enables clients’ systems to be designed with the desired number of compressors. This is easily achieved with an installation that’s engineered to be straightforward and allow for easy future maintenance.
